FlyOrDie.io is now EvoWorld.io
The evolution-survival browser game formerly called FlyOrDie.io is now EvoWorld.io by Pixel Voices. The bare phrase Fly or Die can also refer to unrelated games. For the renamed .io game, use evoworld.io.
Research notes
Research notes: the official title explicitly identifies FlyOrDie.io as the former name. The community history places the rename in December 2020. This supports identity continuity, not a personally remembered match or a tested redirect from every old domain.
When the name changed
Spanish Wikipedia and Wikidata date the rename to 1 December 2020. The Fandom article dates it to 2 December 2020. Both sources agree it happened in December 2020, so this page says December 2020 and cites both. The official title and the CrazyGames and Poki listings still say the game was previously FlyOrDie.io.
The wiki records a 50% XP event from 23 December 2020 to 7 January 2021, but describes its cause as presumably the rename or Christmas. Its explanation is speculation, not a verified developer statement.
Steam’s Fly or Die is a different game
Steam search for evoworld returned zero results on 13 October 2026. Steam app 1814220, titled Fly or Die and published by Vedanta Team, is a Windows-only roguelite horror listed as coming soon. It is not the old browser build. Do not install it expecting EvoWorld.io.
